New DIGITAL X-RAY SYSTEM

Good quality X-rays are still a fundamental part of lameness investigations and we realize that it is not convenient for you to have to travel to a hospital facility to get X-rays done.

The solution is simple: mobile digital radiography. We have recently upgraded our old Cuattro Slate DR system to the new state of the art Cuattro Slate 6 digital system. This allows us to perform hospital quality X-rays on site with ease – we are currently the only equine practice in the area to be able to offer this service of this quality!

Due to the wireless system it makes taking x-rays much more efficient and hassle free. There is no need to travel your horse to a hospital so therefore makes it much more cost effective process and reduces the potential stress to you and your horse. This system also assists in achieving a much more rapid diagnosis.

Unlike the old-fashioned plate and film systems, the new Cuattro Slate connects wirelessly to a touchscreen notepad. The images are captured immediately and can be assessed and adjusted within seconds. All images taken are of the highest resolution and can be examined on site from the notepad.
